Ayurvedic massage of back, neck and shoulders is a very effective Ayurvedic oil massage focused on the most problematic parts of body which are back, nake, and shoulders. Warm oil is used to massage “marma points”, node points or the junctures of energy flow in the body. It is not a pressure, but gentle and soothing massage. Massage increases the production of blood corpuscles and antibodies which protect the body from viruses and illnesses. It vitalizes the body, retards the process of ageing and brings vitality. It improves the function of muscles, softens the complexion and has a favourable effect on the quality of skin. It has been used to keep good health condition, better sleep and longevity for thousands years. Massage lasts 30 minutes.

Shiroabhyanga  is a relaxation oil face and head  massage. The aim of the massage is to eliminate the feelings of stress, to improve neck elasticity, to mitigate eye pressure, to relieve migraine, to overcome insomnia and to improve concentration. From the point of view of aesthetics, it helps to reduce gentle wrinkles, releases mimic muscles, brightens the complexion and makes it look healthy and vital.  Massage lasts 30 minutes.

Served with massage:

In RASAJÁNA SPA, as welcome drink, Ayurvedic detoxification drink is offered. It contains ginger, mint, honey and lemon. The drink is not only detoxifying, but also diuretic and it is an excellent prevention of getting a cold or influenza. It is served warm. In case, guests are allergic to any of Ayurvedic detoxification drink ingredients, it is recommended to inform Ayurvedic spa staff about the problem.

- after phlebitis
- after thrombosis /massage is not practised on affected parts of body/
- pregnancy, menstruation /massage is not practised on the back and abdomen/
 

Total contraindications: /massage is not recommended/

- inflammatory and purulent skin diseases, wounds, rash, big protruding moles, eczema, swelling, bruises
- infectious diseases, fever, cold, influenza, tonsillitis
- serious inflammatory diseases
- fungal infections
- acute pain lasting less than 3 days
- oncological diseases
- enlarged lymph nodes
- hypertension / low blood pressure
- the state of drunkenness
- the state of extreme exhaustion
- It is recommended:

- not to take massage at least 2 hours after main course
- to inform SPA staff about any of client’s skin allergies or allergy to any substance

- no swimsuit is required in sauna
- swimsuit is required in pools and massage bathtub
- it is prohibited to go in the pool and massage bathtub after massage
