The shape of Košická Hlavná ulica resembles a large lens through which you too can glimpse the world of history. The historic center was fortified with walls until the 18th century. Today, it consists of an almost kilometer long pedestrian zone surrounded by magnificent historical buildings that were inhabited by medieval kings, counts and important representatives of the nobility. The center is steeped in legends and stories, palaces of rich nobles alternate with houses of craftsmen and churches. The center has adorable squares and narrow streets that attract the gaze of passers-by. Košice has so many corners and legends that it is really interesting to be guided by them. The residents of Košice themselves liked the regular city tours organized by local guides. If you are interested, we will be happy to recommend the best ones. If you take a day off, our hotel has a FANTASTIC location. It is in the center of the city, but in a quiet street, only 20m from the city park with a lake, greenery, benches, gazebo, playgrounds, sports field. If you decide to visit the center, we are only 2 minutes from Hlavna Street. Therefore, you don't even need to call a taxi for an evening meeting or a night's entertainment in the center!
